Hi I’m Terry Cutting.
I’ll keep this short so you don’t get bored and go to bed.
I’m married and my wife Bev and I have seven daughters and twenty grand children with two on the way, two dogs and a fish.
I’m Australian born and bred as is my wife. I‘ve been overseas once, just last year. I grew up in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney and started work when I was nearly fifteen. I’m a metalworker by trade but I’ve had many career changes and very itchy feet.
Many years ago I worked as a Stockman. I have also been a Stationhand, Cleaner, A Fruit and Vegetable picker, Labourer, Air Conditioning Installer, Welder, Industrial Designer and a Production Manager, to mention a few.
I’ve have had to turn my hand to anything that paid an honest living.
As paying hobbies I’ve made Leather Goods and Wooden Toys as well as many other wooden crafted items selling them at shopping centres, street fairs, fetes, rodeo’s and shows. For quite a few years these were my only source of income.
My family and my time on the land as well as my twenty or so years in Narromine have given me plenty of material for one of my great loves, poetry. I don’t mind sitting down and writing a book or two, even if they haven’t been published by the mainstream publishers. I like to get out and take lots and lots of photographs of the area around the river here and you will see some of my work on this site.
I look forward to the development of this site and promoting this area and our wonderful Australian talent.
